Apple A15 processor - the most important piece in the upcoming iPhone 13 phones began production!

 

During this year, specifically the last quarter of 2021, Apple will announce new versions of iPhone phones, which are iPhone 13 phones, and the production of the most important component in it has already begun, which is the Apple A15 processor.

As usual, the Taiwanese company TSMC will produce the Apple A15 processor according to the design previously developed by Apple. The Taiwanese company is the largest producer of processors in the world, and it has been a partner of Apple for many years.

The Apple A14 Bionic processor announced by Apple last year was the first processor in the smartphone market to come with 5 nm process technology instead of 7 nm technology.

The Apple A14 Bionic processor is a six-core processor: two cores dedicated to high performance and heavy tasks, four cores for regular tasks and more energy saving, and it is the same processor used in the iPhone 12 and iPad Air version 2020.

The Apple A15 processor is expected to carry the same technology (5 nm) with a focus on improving performance and power consumption mainly.

IPhone 13 phones are expected to be announced during the month of September and launched in the last quarter of the year, beginning in October, as happened last year.

The delay that occurred last year in the launch of the new iPhone phones may be repeated this year due to the continuing global Corona crisis, as well as problems in supply chains and the increase in demand for semiconductors (chips). All this and other reasons may delay the launch.

Among the other advantages expected to be released is the increase in the screen refresh rate to 120 Hz and the reliance on a completely new type of screen with LTPO technology.
